About Us

Cedar Mountain Retrievers started with addition of our first Labrador Retriever Remington "Remi". After re-discovering our love for the breed and the exceptional drive, charisma, and technical skills in hunting that Remi brought to the field, we decided to establish a breeding program centered around just this. Our goal is to provide exceptional, high drive, yet trainable hunting dogs, with great temperament for the family and home. Whether that is through the training services we offer to help build your own personal dog or through our breeding services where we provide studs that come from established, strong and healthy pedigree lines. Our Labradors are also very well rounded. They are ran through AKC and UKC events on a yearly basis, they are involved in family hunting and outfitting events and they also live in our home with us because they are nothing less than part of our family and true members of the Diettert household.

In addition to offering stud services and CMR puppies, we also provide Basic Obedience & Foundation/Beginner and Advanced Gun Dog Training. We are a small kennel and limit these services to only a small group of client dogs at a time. This allows us to maximize and focus our attention to each of the dogs needs and clients desire.
